During the broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando #579 program, Diosdado Cabello Rondón urged the National Association of Journalists (CNP) to intervene in the disputes between journalists identified with the opposition and extremism.

Referring to the recent public clashes between these “journalists”, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) questioned the inaction of the union that represents them.

“There are fights between journalists and the school should get involved,” he said and lamented the escalation of these attacks between communication spokespersons from the various sectors of the opposition that have resulted in insult and threats.

“That's not a good example, gentlemen from the National College of Journalists to do something. Well, I don't know if anything can be done there,” he insisted at the same time that he asked to address the situation: “Call for ethics and sanity, I can write a statement for you and you sign it yourself.”
