National Government rehabilitates areas of the Dr. Jesús María Casal Ramos Hospital in Portuguesa

In order to optimize public health services in the region, the national government delivered 1,253 square meters of fully rehabilitated infrastructure at the Dr. Jesús María Casal Ramos Hospital in Araure, Portuguese state.

This work has three operating rooms for emergency interventions, elective surgeries and highly complex procedures; in addition, it integrates specialized technology such as C-arc for image intensification, laparoscopic equipment and instruments for neurosurgery.

The facilities offer two recovery rooms, three rest areas with sanitary services, administrative spaces, a work area, a warehouse for medical-surgical supplies and a waiting room for authorized personnel.

In addition, the second level of the healthcare center houses seven hospitalization rooms for various surgical specialties, for a total reach of 36 recovered spaces.

This project in Portuguese was born from the joint work between the senior leadership of the National Executive, Governor Primitivo Cedeño and the Mayor's Office of the Araure municipality, with the firm purpose of raising the quality of medical care and ensuring the protection of the people.
