On February 8, 2004, Commander Hugo Chávez assured that the right will not return to power because they are “alligators from the same well, snakes each looking for prey, fighting for the prey” and called for the unity of revolutionaries.

From Maracaibo, Zulia state called for the unity of the different sectors that make up the Bolivarian Government , “taking Bolívar's word to unity”, to consolidate the permanence of the Bolivarian Revolution and its achievements.”

“Bolivarian friends, revolutionaries, Venezuelan people, nationalists, men and women of the political parties that support the Revolution, Movement V Republic, Patria Para Todos, Podemos, Communist Party of Venezuela, (...) Single Confederation of Workers of Venezuela and other trade union movements that support the Revolution but that belong to different currents; I call all of them, taking Bolívar's word, to unity,” he said.
