Public and private banks have processed 400 social credits from Venezuela Renace

To date, a total of 400 people have applied for social loans from Plan Venezuela Renace from public and private banks to purchase their new homes, said the Deputy Minister of Banking, Insurance and Securities, Jimmy Berríos.

“The Venezuela Renace Plan has allowed around 400 people to have already made their formal request for social credit to purchase their new homes,” said the official during a meeting with representatives of public and private banks, according to a press release from the Treasury Bank (BT).

In statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), he highlighted the effectiveness of joint work between the State and the financial sector. The Deputy Minister also urged to maintain permanent contact with affected customers.

The meeting was attended by the president of the Banking Association, Pedro Pacheco, and representatives of Banesco, Mercantil, Provincial, Banco Nacional de Crédito (BNC), Banco de Venezuela, Banco Digital de los Trabajadores and BT.
