Venezuela and Indonesia advance cooperation in aquaculture and shrimp

The Minister of the People's Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan
Carlos Loyo, held a meeting with the Indonesian ambassador to Venezuela,
Fikry Cassidy, to advance the planning of a technical and
professional visit aimed at evaluating the productive potential of Blue Venezuela in
terms of aquaculture, especially in shrimp farming.
During the meeting, the authorities discussed the possibility
of making a high-level visit to shrimp companies in the states of
Falcón and Zulia, in order to learn first-hand about their
productive capacities, processes and potentialities, as part of the construction of
new opportunities for cooperation between the two nations.
This meeting is part of the agenda to strengthen
cooperation relations between Venezuela and Indonesia, aimed at
promoting new opportunities for the development of fisheries and aquaculture,
promoting the exchange of knowledge and technologies and continuing to consolidate
the productive potential of Blue Venezuela.
