2005: Chávez creates Mission Robinson II

20 years ago, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, created the Robinson II Mission, with the motto “I can continue” awakened the will in millions of brothers to continue the path of humanistic and productive education.
Since its creation, the Robinson Mission has aimed to get participants to pass the sixth grade of basic education, to ensure the consolidation of the knowledge acquired during literacy and to provide other training opportunities in various professions.
The Robinson II Mission is based on the “I can follow” method, which uses television, video classes and support brochures as an educational strategy. It represents the continuation of the Robinson I Mission after its success.
