On August 27, 2000, the program Hello President hosted by Commander Hugo Chávez made its first television broadcast on the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
Thus setting a significant precedent for communication in our country, managing to establish direct contact between the President of the Republic, Commander Hugo Chávez, and the needs of the Venezuelan people.
The new platform represented a new challenge and the restructuring of the program, which, from that moment on, achieved global recognition and example, taking it to different countries.
The debut of Aló Presidente, on television, was broadcast from chapter 40 and was broadcast from the headquarters of Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV), with a duration of four and a half hours.
Throughout its history, the program toured the regions of the country, being broadcast from Venezuelan towns and cities; even from unexpected places, such as Isla de Aves or Isla El Burro.
Some episodes were broadcast from other countries, such as the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba and Bolivia. And in December 2000, from Maiquetía, the space achieved the feat of being broadcast live and simultaneously to three countries: Cuba, Brazil and Spain.
