On August 21, 1983, Diosdado Cabello Rondón joined the Venezuelan Military Academy, where he began his journey as a soldier and fervent defender of the Fatherland.
“1983 year of the Bicentenary of the birth of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, of the Pan-American Games in Caracas and of our arrival at the Houses of Blue Dreams,” he recalled during the Con El Mazo Dando program on July 12, 2023.
During his time at the House of Blue Dreams, he met Commander Hugo Chávez, who, together with him and a group of patriotic soldiers, nine years later demonstrated their anti-imperialist character in the face of the neoliberal package of the Government of Carlos Andrés Pérez. Movement that is known as the awakening of hope of a people oppressed by the Fourth Republic.
42 years after this event, Captain Diosdado Cabello has demonstrated his commitment to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
“The brothers and sisters of the Armed Forces are a family,” he once said.
