The people of the state of Amazonas sent more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Caracas, according to information provided by the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) website.
The mobilization started at the entrance to Puerto Ayacucho with a shipment intended to support families affected by the earthquakes of June 24, so local communities and businesses organized a collection day that allowed priority supplies to be collected.
The dispatch includes medicines, non-perishable food and basic items that will be distributed to vulnerable sectors, so the organizers reiterated the call to maintain collaboration with authorized collection centers in the region.
Each contribution strengthens the delivery of assistance and supports the community effort that continues to be active in support of the most affected areas.
