AN approved draft agreement commemorating Youth Day

The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the draft agreement commemorating the Twenty-Twelfth Anniversary of the Battle of Victory and Venezuelan Youth Day, in accordance with the provisions of Article 111 of the Parliament's Rules of Interior and Debate.

The person in charge of presenting the project was Deputy César Pérez, who stressed that today there is a courageous youth “who send a message to the world of strength, courage and empathy that all young people fight for the Fatherland”.

In this regard, he added that “it is time to unite, and to say that there is a youth leadership here that is willing and will be on the streets of Venezuela debating and embracing us as brothers and sisters, always. Also, it's time to vindicate the struggle of every young person in our country,” said the parliamentarian.

For her part, the deputy of the opposition bench Anyelith Tamayo took the right to speak, adding that today Venezuela demands more from young people. “That's why it's necessary to talk about the country we want to build; it's the moment when the country demands more height from us.”
