Apure livestock sector strengthens agricultural efficiency to improve herd

The Apure State Cattle Farmers Association (Agapure), in partnership with Pharmakum Laboratories and the private sector, carried out a training day aimed at small and medium-sized producers, veterinary doctors and university students to strengthen the efficiency of the regional agricultural sector. During the event, speakers such as Luis Jesús Lapenta emphasized the importance of adopting preventive medicine schemes to lower operating costs, urging farmers to modernize the vision of their farms towards profitable and high-performance agricultural business models.
During the event, union spokespersons such as Ronald Doble s, president of the Apure Dairy Buffalo Producers Association, valued continuous training as the key driver for making local production sustainable. For his part, the director of Agapure, Manuel Jerónimo Solórzano, recalled that the entity has 3.5 million hectares with a livestock vocation, emphasizing that the integration of university youth and new techniques will make it possible to position the state with the most important herd in the country.
