President Rodríguez recognized the journalists who truthfully informed the people after the earthquakes

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, regarding her speech at the presentation of the national journalism award 2026, said that informing “is also accompanying, guiding and being present when you need it most.”

“With the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award 2026, we recognized communication professionals who have been with our people at decisive moments, especially during the double earthquake. My recognition and gratitude for this work, whose main commitments are truth and service to society. May communication continue to be a bridge for understanding, coexistence and peace among Venezuelans,” wrote the national president on her account on the social network Telegram.
