Argentine Solidarity Movement sends a shipment of solar kits to Cuba

The Argentine Movement for Solidarity with Cuba (MASC) sent a shipment of 45 solar kits to the Port of Mariel as part of its national campaign “We are with Cuba”.

The container arrived on a charter vessel and is part of MASC's actions to support the Cuban population, Telesur reported.

The shipment was carried out through a collective collection in which more than one hundred political, trade union, social and cultural organizations from Argentina participated, a financial campaign and citizen mobilization. To promote their contributions, the activists carried out activities in Buenos Aires through a march from the center of the capital to the Obelisk and a political-cultural event at the headquarters of the Argentine Boxing Federation.

Members of the MASC pointed out that the shipment has a symbolic value and affirmed that, although it represents a limited contribution to the needs of the island, international coordination will make it possible to generate a favorable impact for the Cuban population solidarity actions.
