BANMUJER: 24 years of financial inclusion for women entrepreneurs

On September 13, 2001, Commander Hugo Chávez inaugurated the Women's Bank (BANMUJER), where he benefited 250 women with the provision of microloans.

Although the microfinance institution was founded on March 8, 2001 by Decree number 1,243 with the force of law issued by Commander Chávez, during an event commemorating International Women's Day.

Thanks to the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Venezuelan women were included in the country's socio-productive system as part of the demands of the female role.

In these 24 years , BANMUJER has advised and financed women entrepreneurs who are daily examples of the promotion of the country's economy.
