On February 23, 2019, the civic-military union, once again, succeeded in overthrowing the conspiratorial plans of the world right against the Bolivarian Revolution through the glorious victory of the Battle of the Bridges.
With the scam of the concert called Aid Live Venezuela, which took place on the Colombian border, artists paid by the empire repeated over and over again that they should let “supposed humanitarian aid” pass to Venezuela.
The media war had set its sights on Venezuela, once again, while on the border side of Commander Hugo Chávez's homeland, the people, with the slogan: “Nothing for War”, enjoyed a concert full of joy and peace.
The stateless, seeing that by orders of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, the Simon Bolivar Bridge in the Venezuelan area was protected by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), began to throw Molotov cocktails at the military personnel and they in turn shouted with a firm spirit: “Always loyal, never traitors!”
“Always loyal, never traitors! We are going to defend the future of our country,” said Captain Juan Hernández Gil of the 3rd Company of Detachment 212 of Ureña, according to the videos recorded in the documentary Battle of the Bridges.
Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed Juaidó Guaidó, who arrived in Colombia with the help of the paramilitary group Los Rastrojos, insisted that the Armed Forces “should” let the supposed humanitarian aid pass.
For his part, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, from the state of Táchira, pointed out: “What cannot enter here is a foreign soldier (...) Homeland is respected. Not even a foreign soldier is going to set foot in Venezuela. Whoever does so runs the risk of being answered as an invader, simple as that.”
The People joined the fight together with the FANB both at the Simon Bolivar Bridge, Puente Unión and Puente Francisco de Paula Santander, which is located in Ureña and where the fascists intended for non-existent “humanitarian aid” to pass.
“The separation of patriotic forces and enemy forces was 150 meters, a hand-to-hand battle, where you saw the enemy. The Francisco de Paula Santander bridge is in Ureña, where the famous and fraudulent humanitarian aid came from, because the guarimberos themselves throwing Molotov bombs set fire to all three trucks,” said Freddy Bernal in an interview with José Vicente Rangel.
In this regard, Bernal described the alleged humanitarian aid as a Trojan Horse to attack Venezuela.
The People, accompanied by the military corps, after several hours of combat, managed to neutralize the aggression, thus defending the sacred soil of the Fatherland.
For his part, the communication minister at the time, Jorge Rodríguez, denounced that this new aggression was coming from the Government of Iván Duque.
“The country that is an expert in false positives is Colombia, the kind of Guaidó is already clear, Guaidó's hoax is already clear and the humanitarian aid, which is not true, is aggression,” he denounced.
These events occurred one month after Juan Guaidó's self-proclamation as president, making it clear that his intentions against the People are nothing more than a U.S. invasion.
“On February 23, 2019, the President of Chile, the President of Paraguay, Mr. Eliot Abrahams of the United States, Mr. Almagro (Secretary General of the OAS), Mr. Duque (President of Colombia) went to Cucuta to invade Venezuela using the concept of humanitarian aid (...) They couldn't enter, they were defeated by the People,” said Cabello during the installation ceremony of the World Meeting of Social Movements and Political Parties of the Left on January 22, 2022.
