Bolivarian Government activates operation in Dique Aragua due to rains

The Bolivarian Government, through the Mayor's Office of the Sucre municipality, maintains an operational deployment in the Aragua Dam, as part of the Pre-Rain plan, with the purpose of protecting the community from the rainfall recorded in the last few hours.

Despite the cleaning and sanitation work carried out last Wednesday, the new flow of sediment and organic material motivated the presence of maintenance teams, who evaluated the state of the infrastructure and carried out the necessary tasks to ensure the normal flow of water and prevent any risk of overflow, according to a press release from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

The action is carried out under the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and Governor Johana Sánchez, who prioritize prevention and timely response to climate events; care bodies will remain in the sector continuously until any threat to families in the area is eliminated.
