Bolivarian Government carried out technical inspection at Hugo Chávez Maternal and Child Hospital in Caracas

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health and the Foundation for Hospital Buildings and Equipment (FUNDEEH) carried out a comprehensive technical inspection at the Hugo Chávez Maternal and Child Hospital in Caracas, to design the road map that will guide the transformation and optimization of their physical spaces and healthcare equipment.

The evaluation allowed the authorities to diagnose the priority structural requirements of the healthcare center, in addition to meeting the need to renew the key infrastructure that covers critical areas of gyneco-obstetrics, neonatology and pediatrics.

The hospital records an approximate daily record of 20 births, a figure with which the campus is positioned as a fundamental reference center within the national public system, in addition to fulfilling a strategic role by having practical classrooms for the preparation of postgraduate doctors.

The planned works will ensure the operational modernization of the building and will raise the quality of the service provided to Venezuelan families.
