Sector Vice President Diosdado Cabello awarded awards to explosives from the FANB (+photos)

A group of members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) received well-deserved recognition, from the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, after completing the course as explosive technicians.

During an event held in the state of La Guaira, Cabello explained that these men and women spent more than eight months training as explosives and, after the double earthquake of last June 24, they have gone to carry out missions and support the demolition of structures in this town.

“They graduate with excellent qualifications, because they have also come here to La Guaira and where the Homeland has needed them, to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired. For those who don't know, these are the boys who get into the buildings, the ones who work doing all the technical part, putting into practice all the knowledge acquired,” said the minister.

In this regard, he explained that being an explotivist “is not an easy task”, because, as he stressed, you have to have nerves of steel to be able to carry out the tasks assigned in this area.

“To be an explosist, you have to have nerves of steel, to take care of the details under any circumstance. Carelessness for an explosivist is not allowed. Gambling at luck is not allowed. Gambling at random is not allowed. It's dedication, awareness, professionalism, technique, patience, knowledge and you, at the end of this course, have acquired all that knowledge. Congratulations!” , he stressed.
