Bolivarian Government carries out seismic refraction study in Mare Abajo, Algarín and Paila II

The technical teams of the National Institute of Geology and Mines (INGEOMIN) and the National Institute of Urban Lands (INTU) deployed a joint seismic survey operation in three parts of the country.
The applied methodology consists of emitting acoustic waves into the Earth to measure the response of the strata and establish the exact location of the rock base, the INTU reported on its social networks.

In this regard, he indicated that these studies define the levels of land consolidation and identify potential geological threats that could affect future buildings.

The project is part of land use planning policies promoted by the Office in charge of the Office of Habitat and Housing, whose guidelines prioritize construction security and community well-being.
