The Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, in conjunction with the state company Construpatria and the leaders of the Commune of Lanceros de Guaicaipura, is still deployed in the San Vicente sector, located at kilometer 4 of El Junquito. This inter-institutional effort seeks to provide an immediate response to the needs of the area following the earthquakes recorded on June 24.

After the contingency, technical teams and organized popular power immediately activated a mitigation plan in the territory. Currently, the commissions are not only carrying out the assessment of structural damage, but they are also carrying out direct work to reduce risky conditions, thus ensuring the protection and peace of mind of homes in the sector.

The community care day also included the delivery of strategic construction materials provided by Construpatria. This distribution, driven by the local workforce in a civic-military and communal union, aims to speed up repair work and demonstrate the organizational capacity of the community to overcome the housing difficulties derived from the seismological event.
