The Venezuelan Ministry of Habitat and Housing carried out a technical inspection of the Ciudad Tiuna residential complex, located in Caracas, in order to evaluate the progress of buildings intended for families who lost their homes after the double earthquake that occurred last June 24.
The commissions of the ministerial office verified construction, finishing and habitability conditions in multiple sectors of housing development.
The oversight seeks to ensure compliance with the schedules contemplated in the state contingency plan activated after the earthquake.
The technical route covered Tower 20 of the Ezequiel Zamora housing estate, in the Los Belorsector, and continued in the Simón Rodríguez sector. In the latter area, officials supervised Towers 38 and 39, structures designed to provide 73 and 67 apartments, respectively.
The authorities also evaluated the work on Towers 12 and 14 of the same Simón Rodríguez housing estate, located in the Los Rusos sector of Fuerte Tiuna. The day ended at Towers J7 and J8 of Simón Bolívar Urban Planning, in the Los Chinos sector, where inspectors confirmed the development of 120 housing solutions in the execution phase.
