Bolivarian Government optimized drinking water supply for 33,507 families in Zulia

The General Staff for Public Services provided equipment, a transformer bank and a control panel to Water Treatment Plant B in the municipality of San Francisco, Zulia state, to optimize the supply of drinking water to more than 33,000 families, in compliance with instructions from President Delcy Rodríguez.
The sector vice president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, indicated in a video posted on Instagram that a technical deployment was carried out in the entity to rehabilitate water facilities and guarantee supply.
The Minister of Water Care, Carlos Mast, specified that three vertical pumps of 200 liters per second (L/S), two 250 L/S motors and three vertical pumping units of 250 HP, located in the plant's chlorination system, were rehabilitated.
In addition, 150 HP motors, a transformer bank and a control panel are installed in five deep wells. These works benefit 33,507 families from four parishes and four communes in the municipality of San Francisco. In the municipality of Santa Rita, the Urribarrí pumping station is being optimized to serve 7,500 families in four communes.
