Bolivarian Government reopens the Santiaga Hermosa Popular Clinic in Ocumare, Aragua state

The Bolivarian Government reopened the Popular Specialized Clinic (CPE) Type II Santiaga Hermosa de Urian, in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast in Aragua.

The Popular Clinic now has a state-of-the-art operating room and completely refurbished areas, according to the Gobernación de Aragua press.

In addition, the surgical area, the delivery room and the reserved postoperative room were activated.

The event was led by the governor of the entity Joana Sanchez, together with Belen Arteaga, the Secretary General of Government; Yosmary Lombano, the sole authority of Health and Rosbeli Concepción, director of the CPE Type II Santiaga Hermosa de Urián.

During the tour, the Governor ratified the commitment of the National Executive to strengthen the public health system in the coastal region of Argueña.

Sánchez explained that the set of tasks included the comprehensive repair of infrastructure, elimination of leaks, treatment of cracks and waterproofing of roofs; as well as the optimization of bathrooms, white water network, electrical system, air conditioning of areas, lighting and wall sanitation.

Likewise, the president of Aragüeña pointed out that the CPE Type II Santiaga Hermosa de Urian has a multidisciplinary care team made up of professionals who are available to citizens.

“Here our work team will serve our people, we have this center 100% equipped with a delivery room, laboratory, immunization, general medicine, 24-hour emergency, surgeries, adult and pediatric hospitalization,” he said.

In the same way, the regional president indicated that the aforementioned health center has a mobile ambulance, fully equipped to deal with emergencies and a power plant to assist in cases of interruption of medical services.

For her part, Rosbeli Concepción, director of the hospital center, pointed out that more than 15,000 inhabitants of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast, neighboring areas of the coastal axis and the tourist population will be favored with the opening of these important works, “because here we will offer medical and nursing care 24 hours a day.”

With this achievement, the Bolivarian Government reinforces its commitment to guarantee the right to free and quality public health, consolidating first-class hospital infrastructure for families on the Aragüan coast.
