Bolivarian Government will deliver bags and school uniforms to more than a million children

The Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that the delivery of school bags will benefit more than one million children during the next school term, while the production of uniforms will be increased from seven to 14 million pieces.

The information was provided from the La Espada de Bolívar commune, located at Cota 905 in Caracas, where part of the school uniforms intended for students in the country are made.

According to a press release, Rodríguez noted that during the past year, seven million pieces were made and school bags were delivered to more than 400,000 children. He indicated that the president, Delcy Rodríguez, set the goal of doubling both numbers: to exceed one million children who benefited from school bags and to increase the number of uniforms produced to 14 million.

“From the communes, we are joining forces to produce uniforms for our students,” said the minister.
