This Wednesday, July 15, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the Bolivarian Government will continue working to ensure comprehensive care for all those affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.

“We are with the people of La Guaira, with their pain and we will accompany them in this whole battle,” he said while condemning the campaign carried out by sectors linked to opposition extremism using missing children as a result of the devastating consequences of these earthquakes.

“That there are missing children, yes, and they are missing because unfortunately they are under the rubble and we haven't found them yet, we don't deny that, because there are a number of buildings and houses that fell, which between buildings and houses are more than 800 in La Guaira.”

In this context, he recalled that those who promote these campaigns silenced the existing mafias in the Fourth Republic. “I know where they took them before, when they had a house in Altamira, they took the children and sold them in the Fourth Republic (...), a lady who charged for giving children up for adoption to maintain the Foundation. Even that's what they did business with,” he recalled.
