During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, dismissed the extreme right's claim that the Constitutional Law Against Hate, for Peaceful Coexistence and Tolerance, “was created to punish dissent from the regime.”

He emphasized that “they don't want hate to be punished, they want to have impunity for hate crimes, but with terrorism, they believe they have rights.”

“It's not okay, you guys are haters. They say that this program (the Mazo) must be eliminated because it promotes hate, what I do is put on what they say,” he said during broadcast number 588.

In this regard, he explained that “they (extremists) ask for suspension for me because I incite hatred, but I only put what they say, so it's direct that they say it promotes hate”.

“That's why, in law, lawyers say that you can't argue in your own clumsiness in your defense. The lawyers say, then. How are they going to say that, if I dedicate this program to them,” he said.

Cabello ironized that “well, it won't be out of intelligence that they're going to move forward, no, no. Keep up your campaign, the hate, the hate.”
