Cabello: Fortunately, Venezuela has been overcoming the rearrangement of tectonic plates

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted that for almost a month Venezuela has been progressively recovering from the two earthquakes that occurred in the country on June 24, which have generated 1,473 aftershocks.

In that sense, he explained that previously a single seismic event had already been news, “we have become almost used to having 20 or 25 (aftershocks) every day”.

“Fortunately, we have been overcoming what they call the rearrangement of tectonic plates, with those movements that have somehow been stabilizing (territory),” he highlighted during his Con El Mazo Dando program, in broadcast number 576.

Referring to the reconstruction work in La Guaira, he reported that already in the Tanaguarenas sector, places have been reached where there are victims and it had not been possible to access them.

He commented on Mrs. Ana's sorrow and pain “because they want their children who died there to be handed over to them. They informed me that we have arrived where their children and a little friend of theirs are. 35 people have already been taken out.”
