Cabello highlights a decrease in seismic aftershocks: We started at 179 a day and today we have around 15

Diosdado Cabello acknowledged that one month after the tragedy left by the earthquakes of June 24, the national government has thoroughly reviewed the work carried out in the affected areas in order to correct any faults detected.

“Reviewing everything that has been done in the last month, in support of the thousands of families who mourned the tragedy of La Guaira, Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón Yaracuy,” he said during Con El Mazo Dando's 577 program.

He added that the number of seismic replicas (1,592) has been decreasing, among other causes, due to the coupling of tectonic plates.

“We started at 179 a day, the first day and today we have around 15,” said Cabello.
