The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted on Monday the strong
response of the population to the perverse campaigns promoted by
extremist sectors following the devastating earthquakes that occurred in the country on June 24.
At a press conference on the red awning, Cabello said that extremist disinformation
laboratories were immediately activated to
attack the revolutionary process, saying that the earthquakes
mostly destroyed the houses built by the Bolivarian Government.
“They have no argument to attack the administration of
Commander Hugo Chávez; no, not only do they have no argument, but when they make
these desperate attempts to attack him, they get worse,” said the leader of the
PSUV, stating that only “4% of the houses built by Commander
Hugo Chávez were those that suffered damage, the rest are private individuals, private urban developments”.
He stressed that “there is no way to hide the mark of the humblest recognition given by Commander Chávez, that is part of that
perverse campaign that they have tried to impose a great communication power.
In the end, the same people dropped their mouths, the same people covered their mouths,” he
emphasized.
