Cabello: In the face of any aggression against our country, the Republic's weapons will be in the hands of the People

The weapons of the Homeland, which are always in the custody of our Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), are now in the hands of our people so that all the men and women of Venezuela can step up in the event of an aggression against our country, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the activation of the Management Bodies for Integral Defense (ODDI) in the states of Aragua, Falcón and Zulia, Cabello emphasized that these actions respond to what is established in our Constitution, which speaks of the co-responsibility of all Venezuelans in the defense of our territory and sovereignty.

In this regard, he stressed that ODDI deployment exercises must serve to check command, control and communication actions. “The President of the Republic has given clear lines of active, prolonged and permanent offensive resistance,” he emphasized.
