The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, insisted on the need to continue installing security cameras throughout the country, for the protection of the Venezuelan people.
Since the Act of Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants and the deployment of Carnavales Seguros 2026, in Falcón state, Cabello Rondón emphasized that security cameras help security forces solve crime cases.
“We must make an effort to ensure that all the cameras we have are working,” said Cabello, while asking all mayors to ask for the collaboration of merchants who have cameras in their businesses to connect them to 911.
He pointed out that, with the help of cameras, we can verify exactly where that person was at the time the crime occurred. “These are very important technological elements,” he insisted.
The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, also stressed that the Bolivarian Government is buying security cameras and is going to distribute them equally throughout the country, “but we also need the support of State, regional and municipal agencies.”
