From the La Carlota Collection Center, in Miranda state, the sectoral vice-president of Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, urged that the lists of medicines be kept up to date in each temporary camp to serve the population affected by the strong earthquakes of last June 24.

“Yesterday we found a lady in La Guaira, in a camp we went to, and they have medical care and they have their list of medicines. This must be done to ensure that this list of medicines is up to date everywhere, so that no one of those who are in the camps lacks anything,” Cabello instructed.

He stressed that people who suffer from tension, diabetes or any other ailment should be treated. “A lady suffering from thyroid disease already has her medicine for three months to give her peace of mind. There are people who need to follow the cancer treatment they are undergoing, we have achieved several and they are being given comprehensive care,” he explained.

“This brings together the rescue agencies, the volunteers, our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the Government, all the Venezuelans and the Venezuelan women with a good heart who have brought material here to be delivered to those who need it right now. That is the Venezuelan who is coming out ahead. That's the Venezuelan who always says present,” he said.
