Cabello: More than 15,000 meals have been distributed by PSUV militants in La Guaira

More than 15,000 hot meals have been prepared and distributed by members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to families in the state of La Guaira affected by the double earthquake of June 24 and the security officials and workers who remain deployed in this entity, said the general secretary of that political tent, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“Here are comrades (at the party's usual press conference) who go out in the early morning to hand out water, food, fruit, to machine operators, soldiers, and police. They do it without advertising, we say it now, after more than a month, to recognize the team,” said Cabello.

In addition, on behalf of this political organization, he expressed his appreciation to the Bolivarian Government for how it has handled every detail for the care of families affected by earthquakes and the recovery of infrastructure.

In this regard, he highlighted how the Executive and the different instances of government have been deployed in the coastal entity. “A recognition to the governors and governors who from all states have been aware of what is happening in La Guaira by sending supplies and machinery,” he said.
