This Wednesday, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during Con El Mazo Dando's 586 program, assured that radical sectors of the opposition do not believe in communal elections because they despise Popular Power.

“They don't know that because theirs is pure camera, pure screen, they have never sat down with the People to know what their inhabitants want, for the People to decide how the budget is executed for their communities. Sitting in an assembly for three hours to listen to the projects? They don't know about that,” he said.

He also pointed out that the opponents do not know how the projects are executed because they are used to stealing the people's money.

“They hate Popular Power and any space where the People can express themselves, they don't like it, because what they know is to impose things on it, but it's a thing of the past because the current Constitution is participatory and leading, and that's irreversible,” he emphasized.
