Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the 576th broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, stated that the recent statements by María Corina Machado about an alleged return to the country are part of a repeated pattern of broken promises, pure spectacle.
“You can search all the old headlines and see how many promises you've made and how many you've kept. But if you keep believing in it, keep believing in it; it's no longer her fault but your fault. Leave the show sayona,” he said.
Cabello pointed out that the opposition leader did not plan to return to Venezuela, but to attend her son's marriage, and that the controversy arose because it would be difficult for her to explain a brief visit to the country followed by an immediate trip to the family event. He recalled that he had already warned that Machado “was not going to do anything before July 11” and assured that he is currently in Panama.
“My vinyl antennas informed me that they have it kept there in Panama because they want to come to Venezuela. That's their problem,” he said.
The leader questioned Machado's statements about an alleged plan to “save” Venezuelans. “It's going to take a month (after the tragedy of the double earthquake) to see how many people it will save after a month. She said she was going to save Venezuelans. They are miserable people who want to play with the pain of others,” he said.
