The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, denied the version invented by mercenaries of the extremist right-wing communication, according to which he argued with United States (US) officials in La Guaira preventing them from passing during the search and rescue efforts following the earthquake double,
In his Con El Mazo Dando program this Wednesday, July 15, Cabello explained that at that time rescuers working on the site were asking for silence, because a specialized machine was in use that detects heartbeats and therefore of survivors.
“I, in Spanish, was explaining to them that they had to turn off the engine to pass, because that's how everyone did it every time they asked for silence. The motorized ones turned off the units, lowered them and pushed them, as did the cars. Someone ill-intentioned not only recorded, but also placed audio that wasn't,” he explained.
The secretary general with the red awning pointed out that every time they managed to understand each other, “I pushed the American officials' car myself” and the actions continued their course.
