Cabello on “journalists” who attacked the country after the earthquakes: You have to be very miserable

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, severely questioned the position taken by a group of journalists during an official press conference given by President Delcy Rodríguez days after the earthquake double, calling their questions a sign of “misery” and “hatred” towards the Venezuelan people.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program, he said that some journalists went to the press conference to express their miseries, their hatred for the people of Venezuela.

“You have to be very miserable to do what they want to do to Venezuela,” said Cabello Rondón, referring to the matrices created against the national government that only sought to generate a situation of chaos in the midst of the emergency caused by the natural event.

He said that during the press conference a journalist asked why was La Guaira militarized? And the CNN International one asked about the difference in the number of victims and the deployment of more than 19,000 personnel from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), that why were the military there, if they had said they weren't there?

Cabello Rondón recalled that President Delcy Rodríguez's response was overwhelming, she told her that she, as Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, gave them that order to take off from day one together with police forces, Civil Protection and Firefighters.

“What they don't say is that there are police officers, firefighters who lost their families and are working, nor do they say that there are dead officials,” he criticized.
