Cabello on the fallacy of suffering from illness launched by an extremist: He doesn't even know how to pronounce what he invented

During Con El Mazo Dando's 576th broadcast, Diosdado Cabello Rondón denied statements made by a right-wing spokesman, surnamed Castejón, who spoke of an alleged illness attributed to the revolutionary leader.

Cabello described that statement as an unsupported invention and part of a narrative based on political hatred.

Cabello pointed out that the opposition spokesman “doesn't even know how to pronounce what he invented,” and questioned the spread of rumors without verifying basic information. He indicated that, although he is not a doctor, the term mentioned by that spokesperson “sounded like something that he should review himself.” He stressed that those who promote these versions act on the basis of speculation and bad intention.

The leader explained that he maintains regular medical control and that his most recent tests were performed in June. “I took my exams in June. This one came out with no news,” he said, pointing to his heart. He added that the spread of rumors about his health seeks to generate baseless political noise.

Cabello said that these episodes reflect the level of disinformation that some opposition actors are trying to install in public opinion. “They are crazy in their hatred and say meaningless things,” he said, reiterating that such versions have no relation to verifiable facts.
