Cabello on the Popular Consultation: Here the People are the ones who decide their projects!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that the next National Popular Consultation will be held on October 18 throughout the country, so that the People can propose and choose the projects to be implemented in their communities.

“The next Consultation has been officially convened for October 18 (...) where the community, the People, the Commune, the Communal Councils decide on the projects that they themselves present and approve; there is no, nor should there be any interference,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

He reaffirmed that the People's Power is the one that nominates and decides the projects to be executed. “No, these are the projects of the mayor's office, no, there go the projects of the Communes, there go the projects of the Community Councils, the projects of the People,” he said.

He stressed that this would be Consultation number eight and added that this is a great project that is part of the actions to move forward on “this front of giving more power to our people every day”.
