The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, questioned whether sectors of the opposition insist that their fights affect the rest of the population.
“When you see that, the first question is who's
in charge of the opposition? What are the codes that they have? And the
conclusion of this is accompanied precisely by the fact that these fights between them want to
permeate the rest of the population of Venezuela,” said Cabello in his Con El Mazo Dando
program No. 580.
Cabello made this statement regarding the attack by
the same sectors of the extreme right on the opposition Enrique Márquez.
“He made a statement and the opposing sectors didn't like that position
and the orders to the Swarm were to slap it, turn it into pieces without compassion of any kind,” he said.
He pointed out that he is not a defender of Márquez;
however, he specified that the opponent made statements based on the
reality of Venezuela, because Communes and Community Councils are a fact in this country.
“I'm not defending Enrique Márquez at all (...) But fools, I think, are those who want to ignore the Community Councils and the Communes (...) they are a reality based on the ground,” he said and reiterated that the Venezuelan opposition is fighting among them.
