President Rodríguez received a post-disaster needs assessment report from UNDP

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Tuesday's Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA), by the regional director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Michelle Muschett, after the earthquakes of last June 24.

From the Miraflores Palace, Muschett confirmed UNDP support for the priorities established by the Venezuelan government with funding needs and governance mechanisms, “which allow the different actors to be articulated according to the added value that each one can provide in this reconstruction effort for Venezuela.”

He stressed that the United Nations System accompanies Venezuela at this time, “and UNDP from the ground from the start accompanying these national development priorities to rebuild and not only rebuild, but rebuild better.”
