This Tuesday, June 30, the
sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed
that people affected by the earthquakes have been treated in a timely manner in terms of health.
In this regard, during a tour
of the Collection Center in La Carlota, Miranda state, he specified that the care curve for the
injured in La Guaira has decreased. “That means that the injured were
identified and treated,” he said.
He noted that some of the people treated have
even been able to return to their homes with their families, while
only a few have gone to the temporary camps.
“Yesterday we got people who were physically beaten because a wall fell on them (...) a piece of furniture, something hit them, but they were already medically discharged, that gives us peace of mind, in a short time they get on with their work,” he said.
