The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confessed that the evening program of this Wednesday, July 15, of Con El Mazo Dando “had a hard time doing it”, recalling the pain and sadness he feels as a Venezuelan when he feels the human tragedy caused by the earthquakes of last June 24.

However, he maintained that the campaign of lies directed against the Venezuelan people in the midst of this difficult situation forced him to carry out this new edition of the program to unmask those who are trying to make political gain from the catastrophe that mourns hundreds of families.

In this regard, he urged longliners and spokespersons of opposition extremism to cease this inhumane campaign and to understand that with these actions they will never obtain the support of Venezuelans.

“Take what you want out of me, but leave this town alone. Generate whatever lies you want about me but leave the people alone, that's not necessary. This is not how they are going to come to Venezuela and they are going to change the Government. Start believing!” , he pointed out while reaffirming that he will continue to lead the battle in defense of Venezuelans.

“Every time I have a chance I will go out and defend this town,” he said.
