The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, ratified this Monday the call of the red curtain to cease the
unilateral coercive measures imposed against the
country, in order to move faster in the reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquakes recorded last June 24.
During the PSUV press conference, Cabello highlighted that, for
the recovery of housing in the midst of the emergency, permanent
coordination with the national private sector is maintained, which “has always been
there, with ups and downs, but it has always been.
He stressed that in the face of the current situation, “there is a great responsibility
in reconstruction and Venezuelan businessmen are on the front line, those in
the construction area, for example, but there are also producers
who have to continue producing food for the country.”
Cabello recalled that before the earthquakes, the
Bolivarian Government was deployed on a pilgrimage to every corner of Venezuela, where
the different business sectors of this country were calling for an end to sanctions.
“We continue to call for the cessation of all existing sanctions
against the country, of all, any restrictions that prevent the free
development of Venezuela as a sovereign and independent country. This is a
demand that we have been making for quite some time,” he emphasized.
