CANTV brings fiber optic services to more than 12 thousand users in Aragua, Carabobo and Yaracuy

The modernization of the CANTV telecommunications network in Aragua, Carabobo and Yaracuy makes it possible to offer fiber-optic services to more than 12 thousand homes, businesses and public institutions in different locations in the central region of the country.

The expansion process includes the replacement of copper cables with optical fiber, the adaptation of telephone exchanges and the construction of more than 22,600 optical ports, as part of the efforts aimed at progressively expanding network coverage.

According to a press release, the Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services are active in sectors of Cagua, Colonia Tovar, Ciudad Alianza, Las Tejerías, Maracay, San Felipe and Valencia.

Modernization efforts continue in these entities to expand the fiber optic infrastructure and promote the progressive incorporation of new users from the communities served.
