On June 20, the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV), an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MinCyT), celebrated its 95th anniversary, guaranteeing the right to communication through the provision of fixed telephone and internet services and products.
Since its nationalization ordered by Commander Hugo Chávez Frías in 2007, the state company has fulfilled its objective of democratizing telecommunications in the country. Therefore, they have repromoted the 'We Are Changing for Venezuela' campaign, which responds to their technological, cultural and organizational transformation.
For their anniversary, they will carry out a series of activities to highlight the company's achievements, and will award awards to their workers.
The objective of this revival is to continue promoting the modernization process of the transition from copper to fiber optics, to meet the needs of the Venezuelan people. In addition, CANTV promotes the new organizational culture required by the so-called blue force, as the protagonist of the technological evolution of the corporation.
