CANTV completed the first phase of the special connectivity plan in La Guaira after a double earthquake

The Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) completed the first phase of the special connectivity plan after the earthquakes recorded on June 24, by completing the requirements requested by the institutions responsible for emergency care.

The telecommunications company installed more than 17 kilometers of optical fiber and state-of-the-art technology in temporary camps and strategic spaces enabled for emergency care, in addition to activating high-speed internet services, IP telephony and Wi-Fi connectivity at the prioritized points for logistics coordination and citizen assistance.

CANTV workers continue to be deployed in the coastal entity, in coordination with technical crews, to support community care and the operation of strategic infrastructures.
