CANTV installs four Ultra Zones in tourist areas in Puerto La Cruz

Connectivity in areas with a high tourist and commercial influx of tourists and businesses in Puerto La Cruz, in the Sotillo municipality of the state of Anzoátegui, is strengthened by the activation of four Ultra CANTV Zones at strategic points in Pozuelos Bay.

Two of these points are located on the Empanadas Boulevard, while the others are located in the Plaza Virgen del Valle and the Eulalia Buroz Ferry Terminal.

The Ultra Zones allow users and visitors to connect to the internet by scanning a QR code, facilitating access to connectivity in these spaces.

For Arybel Ubac, merchant of Las Empanadas Boulevard, the incorporation of this connectivity alternative favors commercial activities in the area. “We used to rely on intermittent signals to process payments electronically. Now, with Ultra Zones, our customers connect instantly using the QR code, make their transfers without delay and enjoy their stay. This revives the boulevard and speeds up our sales,” he said.

The activation of these connectivity points is part of the actions carried out by CANTV to expand Internet access and strengthen connectivity in areas of tourist and community interest in the state of Anzoátegui.
