Carabobeño teachers received scientific training

A total of 32 educators from Carabobo were trained this Wednesday, October 15, in new methodologies for teaching science and technology, key elements for the country's productive and sovereign development.

The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite Carabobo) carried out the activity in the facilities of the Didactic Center for Science Teaching, specifically in the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán auditorium.

During the activity, participants had the opportunity to detail their experiences and mention suggestions for the growth of their students, as well as to experience a complete tour of these areas.

In addition, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the teaching and management staff received instruction in strategic areas such as educational robotics (introducing logical thinking and programming in the classroom), how laboratory kits should be used to carry out practical experiments, a direct approach to the study of life and the environment through microscopy and biology.

Finally, the understanding of how science and technology should be aimed at solving specific problems in each institution framed within the Territorial Plan for Scientific Semilleros, a program designed to awaken vocation and scientific curiosity in children and young people from school.
