Caracas firefighters fight structural fire on El Cementerio's main avenue

This Sunday, September 20, the commissions of the Caracas Fire Department carried out a high-level operational deployment to combat a structural fire in the Mostaza building, located on the main avenue of El Cementerio, adjacent to the La Hormiga Market.

In its account on the social network Instagram, the Fire Department specified that “the immediate mobilization of our suppression units and specialized teams demonstrates the permanent level of alert and the capacity to respond of our institution to act in areas of high commercial density and to safeguard the lives of citizens”.

“In a titanic task and under strict safety protocols, our courageous personnel remain on site carrying out intense confinement and extinguishing maneuvers to stop the advance of the fire and prevent its spread to neighboring structures,” he said.

It highlights that “the Caracas Firefighters, who remain on the front line of combat and will not rest until they completely mitigate the flames and declare the area completely safe for the community.”
